Peru 0005: A Promising Cu-Mo and Cu-Au Porphyry Cluster in Ancash
Spanning 2,000 hectares in the resource-rich Ancash region, Peru 0005 hosts an exciting Cu-Mo and Cu-Au porphyry cluster with immense discovery potential.
The property boasts widespread quartz-sericite-limonite-pyrite stockwork within granodiorite, yielding grades of up to 0.42% Cu and 0.72% Mo. Intruding diorite porphyry dikes display biotite potassic alteration, with quartz veinlets delivering exceptional results of up to 3.11% Cu and 872 g/t Au.
Geochronology dates the Cu-Mo systems at 9.3–10.24 Ma, closely aligned with a major Cu-Mo-Zn mine in the region. Notably, the Cu-Au system remains undated, offering untapped exploration opportunities. With no indigenous communities in the project area, development is streamlined for advancement.
